Let Down your Nets

"As for me, I will call upon God;... Evening, and morning, and at noon will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice."

Where do I even Begin? This ever growing list of cares, troubles, and burdens... O, the burdens! The souls and faces that I cannot blot from my memory... They have cut me to the heart unknowingly and I am left crying after them! "Where are you going? Look at your feet! The ground you're walking on is crumbling! And... why can't you hear me?"

The words of the Psalmist are still sweet to me. Ps. 55:22 "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee; He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

I have heard oft' of the call to urgent prayer...

"If God is not first in our thoughts in the morning, He will b e the Last remainder of the day." - E. M. Bounds

"Solid missionary work is done only on our knees." - James Fraser

"The prayers of God's saints strengthen the unborn generation against the desolating waves of sin and evil." - E. M. Bounds

...When, tell me, will we start praying instead of talking about it?

Colossians 4:2-3 "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with Thanksgiving; withal praying that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds."

A door of utterance... I can see the windows of heaven open and the breath of God fall upon me if I but ask!

In Chile, just two weeks before the earthquakes, they prayed for revival. And now, right before them, they are overwhelmed by all the "fish" they've caught! =)

So.. this week, I am going to pray and prepare for a drought. By faith I am going to lift up my hands and let down my nets! God will do... What He deems best.

Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, Believe, that ye receive them and ye shall have them."

Brightening dark Corners

Sometimes I really cannot explain how God moves on someone's heart.. But I love it. I love how God can take a seemingly depressing situation and turn all tears to joy, all sorrow to praise... He can take what looks to be a crisis, show a man the need, and bring before him the opportunity. Burdens are Blessings, Weakness is Strength, Weeping becomes Joyful.. "When comes the harvest.." Would to God we had more who could see beyond the chaos and break for the opportunity, scared that they might miss a single beat from the heart of God. I want it. I want that soul who is in need of God. I want to reach in the dark and show them the light... And they are right before me...
II Corinthians 4:3-7
"But if our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

This is a song I wrote while I was in college a few years back. The burden I had then is just as real to me today.

“Just People, Just Faces”

Just People, Just Faces
Going to a burning Hell.
These Countries and Places
Trapped in a darkened Veil.
In the corners of the world
Someone’s crying out for help!
In the darkness of their sin,
Will their tears ever reach your ears?!

Help! I’m drowning!
Someone rescue me!
Who will save me
From this burning flame?
Cause I don’t even know
Who would stoop to rescue me?

A lost man in passing
And you don’t even look to care.
You’re praying and fasting,
But what about that man right there?
Someone’s dying every day,
Like a vapor pass away.
Who’ll be moved to go
Reach that man who may never know!

Help! I’m drowning!
Someone rescue me!
Who will save me
From this burning flame?
Cause I don’t even know
Who would stoop to rescue me?

God’s looking for someone
Who’ll weep for the lost.
To the world, He gave His son.
Who’ll count the cost?
For the world Jesus died,
For these souls He gave His life.
And He’s begging us to speak,
For their blood will be on our Hands!

Help! I’m drowning!
Someone rescue me!
Who will save me
From this burning flame?
Cause I don’t even know
Who would stoop to rescue me?

First Step

Rhythms from this CRAZY LIFE of mine <3

~Listen if you want to, Laugh if you can, Love ‘cause it’s free~

sOo I broke down.. I will be blogging. I figure that there are too many happenings that my pen has not touched, too many footprints left behind that no one was fortunate to uncover, too many fingerprints I've wiped away... I love to write, but it always takes me FOREVER as it does with just about everything I do. =) So, be patient.. I'll come around. ;)
May each page leave a memory, hold a dream, and inspire the hearts of all who read this. . With each turn, you will see a fingerprint. With each pause, you'll catch a glimpse of a footprint. Let God be your influence and let His wisdom roll off each word onto your heart.
This is my dream.. To press forward for God, to never look back with regret, and to let my Heart be under the complete subjection of Christ. May music still thrill my soul, the pen still write my thoughts, and the Bible still be my guide. May each post hold dreams, songs, heartaches, joys, triumphs, lessons, and inspirations.. to encourage those who have lost their way, lift up the fallen, and give joy to the child of God.
"What you do today determines where you will be tomorrow"
Every friendship, counselor, admiration.. can influence your entire life. Be prepared to step out and trust God for your future. There are no chances when you trust God. There is security, protection, and power under His wings. Let His Word be your Wings of the morning to carry you through the day. Don't let failure pull you down. Learn from your mistakes and believe God to pull you through. Remember that unfit is absolutely perfect with God because if the Shoe doesn't fit, He can fill the rest.. And "Always be ever mindful that the whisper of temptation can be heard farther than the loudest call to duty"
I look forward to keeping up with this blog and sharing new adventures with you.
God Bless<3
