Brightening dark Corners

Sometimes I really cannot explain how God moves on someone's heart.. But I love it. I love how God can take a seemingly depressing situation and turn all tears to joy, all sorrow to praise... He can take what looks to be a crisis, show a man the need, and bring before him the opportunity. Burdens are Blessings, Weakness is Strength, Weeping becomes Joyful.. "When comes the harvest.." Would to God we had more who could see beyond the chaos and break for the opportunity, scared that they might miss a single beat from the heart of God. I want it. I want that soul who is in need of God. I want to reach in the dark and show them the light... And they are right before me...
II Corinthians 4:3-7
"But if our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."

This is a song I wrote while I was in college a few years back. The burden I had then is just as real to me today.

“Just People, Just Faces”

Just People, Just Faces
Going to a burning Hell.
These Countries and Places
Trapped in a darkened Veil.
In the corners of the world
Someone’s crying out for help!
In the darkness of their sin,
Will their tears ever reach your ears?!

Help! I’m drowning!
Someone rescue me!
Who will save me
From this burning flame?
Cause I don’t even know
Who would stoop to rescue me?

A lost man in passing
And you don’t even look to care.
You’re praying and fasting,
But what about that man right there?
Someone’s dying every day,
Like a vapor pass away.
Who’ll be moved to go
Reach that man who may never know!

Help! I’m drowning!
Someone rescue me!
Who will save me
From this burning flame?
Cause I don’t even know
Who would stoop to rescue me?

God’s looking for someone
Who’ll weep for the lost.
To the world, He gave His son.
Who’ll count the cost?
For the world Jesus died,
For these souls He gave His life.
And He’s begging us to speak,
For their blood will be on our Hands!

Help! I’m drowning!
Someone rescue me!
Who will save me
From this burning flame?
Cause I don’t even know
Who would stoop to rescue me?
